Hey! I’m Ellie Hall, and I just want to share a little about myself with you.

I’m a Christian, a homeschooler, and an aspiring author born and raised in the great state of North Carolina. My parents have always been super supportive, pushing me to ask questions, dive into my passions, and find new ways to up my writing game, reminding me that growth is important—not just in my craft, but in life and my faith too. Their constant encouragement has made me appreciate all the little things in life. I LOVE that first cup of coffee in the morning, musicals with their compelling stories and characters (‘The Phantom of the Opera,’ ‘Wicked,’ and ‘Newsies’ are my top three), and corgis with their adorable little faces and personalities. In my downtime, you can find me getting lost in a good book, writing stories, and listening to music.

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, starting out with some short fanfics that really helped me tap into my creativity, and now I’m diving into my own content that exercises my unique voice and worldview. The only thing holding me back is that I don’t have a site where I feel comfortable sharing my stories. So, I thought, why not start this blog? It’s not just about letting my ideas flow freely, but also giving other writers and creatives a space to improve their skills too! By building this community, I hope we can collaborate, build each other up, and share tips that’ll help all of us grow in our writing journeys. Let’s face it, writing doesn’t have to be solitary journey; it’s way more fun when we travel it together, celebrating wins and learning from bumps along the way.

On this blog, you’ll find

  • Snippets from my stories that you can comment on and give suggestions about
  • Book descriptions and character profiles
  • Practical tips and tricks
  • Behind the scenes of my creative process
  • Writing prompts
  • And more!

I’m super excited to see what you come up with and can’t wait to hear all your awesome ideas! Have fun creating!
