One thing I’ve learned out about writing is that what works for one person might not work for someone else, since everyone has their own preference and style that works for them. It’s important to have the tools that fit you best: think notebooks, pens, pencils, or whatever else tickles your fancy, because having the right stuff can really benefit your creativity and make writing way more fun. Pens are like the ultimate weapon for a writer. Personally, a pen needs just two things: awesome ink and a comfy grip. If it’s missing one or the other, it’s a dud. Solely relying on my computer to jot down ideas can be slow and all over the place, which is why a writing journal is a lifesaver.
